In a shocking incident in Haiti, President Jovenel Moise (53) was assassinated at his home by a group of unidentified people. This was announced by the country's interim Prime Minister, Claude Joseph.
Moise's wife, First Lady of Haiti, Martine Moise is hospitalized after the attack.
Joseph has condemned this incident as a "hateful, inhumane and barbaric act" and added that the country's police and other security authorities have the situation under control.
Political and Economic stability along with gang violence and Moise's failure to handle the situation is said to be one of the reason for this incident.
