Public gardens and beaches to remain open from 6 am to 10 pm in Mumbai

As a part of it's unlocking phase, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced new set of relaxations for outdoor places and activities. All public places, playgrounds, gardens, chowpatties and beaches in Mumbai will remain open from 6 am to 10 pm on all days.

Earlier BMC had allowed this places to remain open for public from 5 am to 9 pm.

  • "Public grounds, gardens, beaches and seafronts to remain open from 6 am to 10 pm" said BMC Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal.

All other guidelines which were released earlier will continue to be effective till next order is issued.

On Sunday, Mumbai recorded 267 new cases and 4 deaths which took the caseload to 7,39,336 and deaths to 15,989 respectively.
