On Wednesday October 20, Mumbai's special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court rejected the bail plea of Bollywood Actor Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmum Dhamecha.

The trio are currently in judicial custody. Khan and Merchant are lodged at the Arthur Road prison in Mumbai while Dhamecha is lodged at the Byculla women's prison.

Khan and the other accused in this case have been booked under Sections 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29 and 35 of the NDPS Act.

  • The NCB on Wednesday submitted Khan's WhatsApp chats reportedly with a debut actress to the court.

"Police have found drug-related WhatsApp chats that are allegedly between Aryan Khan and a debut actress" said the NCB.

Khan along with others was arrested on October 2 after the NCB team busted a rave party at a cruise ship on it's way to Goa.

Reacting to this event, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede didn't comment anything specific apart from "Satyamev Jayate" [Truth alone triumphs].
