J-K: 3 Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists including Hindu school teacher's murderers neutralised

Three Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM) terrorists were neutralised in twin anti-terrorist operation in Kulgam and Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

Inspector General of Kashmir Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar termed the Kulgam encounter an "important one" as the terrorists involved in killing of Hindu school teacher Rajni Bala were neutralised.

"The Kulgam encounter is an important one, as the terrorists were involved in the killing of school teacher Rajni Bala on May 31. We were tracking the terrorist since then... Yesterday two terrorists were killed," IGP Kumar was quoted by ANI.

  • Bala was killed by terrorists in the High School Gopalpora area of Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on May 31.

The identification of the killed terrorist is yet to be ascertained as the operation is still in progress.
