Bombay HC orders demolition of Narayan Rane's bungalow's illegal portions to BMC.

 

On Tuesday, the Bombay High Court directed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to demolish unauthorised construction at Union minister Narayan Rane's bunglow in Mumbai's Juhu.

  • After the BMC sent notices over unauthorised construction at Rane's bunglow, he challenged it and appealed to the High court which rejected his plea and imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh.

He later requested relief till he files an application in the Supreme Court but the Bombay HC rejected it too.

"Bombay High Court directs BMC to demolish unauthorised construction at Narayan Rane's bunglow and also imposes a fine of Rs 10 lakh," the petitioner's advocate Aditya Pratap was quoted by ANI.
