Police on Saturday informed that a 28-year-old woman Rekha Devasi purportedly died committing suicide by jumping off a building's terrace along with her 6-year-old daughter Ankita in Mumbai's Mira Road.
After being informed of the incident, Kashimira Police arrived on the scene. In the case, an Accidental Death Report (ADR) was filed, and the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
- The deceased used to live with her husband and two children in the same building, as per police information.
The police said that they have not recovered any suicide note.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
