| PM Modi distributes 70,000 appointment letters in Rozgar Mela |
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 70,000 appointment letters through video conferencing to newly recruited employees from Rozgar Mela organized at 44 locations across the country.
The selected recruits will work in various ministries and departments under the central government, state governments, and Union Territories supporting this initiative. During the virtual address to the appointees, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated them and emphasized the importance of the next 25 years for India's economy, indicating potential employment opportunities and per capita income growth.
PM Modi also highlighted the progress of India's banking sector, which has seen significant improvements under the current government's initiatives. The Karmayogi Prarambh platform, which provides over 580 e-learning courses for skill enhancement, will be available to newly recruited employees.
Last year, PM Modi launched the first phase of Rozgar Mela, which aimed to provide 10 lakh government jobs.
