Truecaller launches AI Assistant for incoming calls in India

Truecaller, the popular caller ID and spam-blocking app, has launched a new feature called "Truecaller Voice" in India, which includes an AI-powered virtual assistant called "Truecaller Assistant." This feature is designed to help users handle their incoming calls more efficiently, as the assistant can automatically answer calls and take messages on the user's behalf.

Truecaller Assistant is powered by Google's Dialogflow technology and is capable of understanding and responding to natural language commands, making it easier for users to communicate with the virtual assistant. In addition to answering calls, Truecaller Assistant can also provide users with information on the caller, including their name and location, as well as help users with tasks like setting reminders and scheduling appointments.

It's worth noting that while Truecaller Assistant can be a useful tool for managing calls, users should still exercise caution when allowing an AI-powered assistant to answer calls on their behalf. It's important to ensure that the assistant is set up correctly and that users are comfortable with the level of control they have over the feature.

Please note that the service is exclusively available for Android devices. If you don't have the Truecaller app, download it first. If you already have the app, you can start using the Assistant immediately. However, if you just downloaded the app, activate it before using the Assistant.
