A 17 Year Old Gives Birth to a girl as her father and his friend have been arrested for rape

A17 year old has given birth to a girl in a Civic hospital in Mumbai. After the birth the father of the girl and one of his friend have been arrested from their home in Ratnagiri District after allegedly raping her and impregnating her.

The incident came into light when the hospital informed the police about the delivery. The girl later said that he and his friend had been raping her since 2018.

An officer said that the girl was warned not to tell anyone about this or they would kill her. After getting Fed up of repeated sexual assualt, she left for her relatives home in Mumbai, but the onslaught continued.

The police have registered an FIR against the duo under section 376(rape) of the IPC and protection of Children and Sexual Offences Act.
